please note we carry a variety of reclaimed and natural wood products , knots, gouges, cracks and nail holes are a part of the natural characteristics of the wood and are not considered defective.
To prevent cracks and warping of wood be mindful of the environmental elements and humidity levels in your home as wood can expand or shrink. Wood does best in 70-72 degree weather and 50-55% humidity . Keep furniture away from heat sources like fireplace and radiator.
